I am Famil Aghakishiyev, a 34-year-old Azerbaijani living in Berlin for 9 years. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Comparative Literature and Media Sciences from Free University Berlin.

I have been interested in films since early adulthood, my first experience at a film set was around 2017, and after that I worked on self funded indie film sets for several years as production assistant and assistent director, before directing my first short.

The topics that interest me most are subtle psychological dynamics in relationships and the weird and unexplored nature of our consciousness.
